Jack Nevitt has been a nature photographer since the early 1970s. He retired from the Federal Government in 2003 as a Photo Lab Tech/Video Production Specialist and has been doing nature and sports photography full time ever since. He has been published by the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority, Time Life Magazine, Loudoun Magazine, Nature Friends and other publications. He has also been the webmaster for NVRPA, the Manassas Warrenton Camera Club and Nature Visions Photography Expo. Jack is also the owner of Virginia Photo Safaris and can be seen out in the field almost every weekend. He uses a Canon 5D MK II, 21MP camera and four lenses, the Canon 24-105 L f4, Canon 70-200 L 2.8, the Sigma 120-300 2.8 and the Sigma 150mm 2.8 Macro lens.
Jack is also a gallery artist and his work can be viewed at The Art Ala Carte Gallery at 310 Mill St, Occoquan, Va. Jack is a member of NaturePhotographers.com, Northern Virginia Art Guild and Northern Virginia Handcrafters Guild.
